Transmission vent line leaking??

1000km. Plowing snow now
Trans vent line dripping oil. Upper Tran very low. Changed both Tran oil according to manual and blew out vent line while plugs out. Still dripping.

Anyone else with this issue? Fixes?

Thank you

Haven’t seen or heard that particular issue yet that I’m aware of. I had a vent line that was mounted way too close to manifold that broke (due to to plastic fitting getting too hot and brittle) and it leaked some oil. Rerouted and fixed and haven’t had problem since. Sorry and hope you get it figured out.

Get that thin stuff out and put in the gear oil. Can get it right at Walmart super tech 80w90 gear oil big jug.

REAR 80W90 GEAR OIL

(Drive machine for a couple miles at speed to get that gear oil up in temp but be careful working around hot exhaust)

Rear has 2 chambers upper and lower. First remove heat shield allowing access to speed sensor. Remove speed sensor. Then remove upper chamber fill plug (3/8 drive square) next remove lower chamber drain plug 1/2" hex and then remove upper chamber drain plug also 1/2" hex. Allow to drain. Reinstall both drain plugs. Then remove lower chamber side fill plug on dr. Side near lower belt cover. Fill lower chamber until oil is level with hole, reinstall fill plug. Add a additional 22oz of oil through the speed sensor hole. Reinstall speed sensor and heat shield. Lower chamber is complete. Add oil to upper chamber fill hole until oil is level with bottom of hole or bottom threads. Replace fill plug. Upper chamber is complete.
