Hello From Alaska

Just found this forum, but post here and there on the Facebook group. I was one of the first to purchase the Havoc up here in Alaska. I mainly use mine for hunting/trapping/fishing. My wife is the speed demon. No real mods to mine as of yet. My A arm just snapped the other day while driving in sand on the beach...so there's that... Nice to meet you all!

Welcome to the forum!
Have you owned any side-by-sides/utv's/atv's in the past?
The Havoc should be a real treat in those conditions till some decent rivals happen.

The stock tires SUCK in sludge-mud; they become slicks. Other than that they seem to be great. I have only had my HavoCat in water or mud about ankle deep in cab with no issues so far. But I try to avoid deep stuff. I hope to snorkel it at some point. Great rig though, really been enjoying it.

I believe that legally the dealers would of had to replace the a arms. Mine was a brand new 2018 also that I bought this year and my dealer had to do the a arm recall long before I purchased the machine. If I remember correctly the bad/old style upper a arms are straight. They look similar to ones found on a Cat snowmobile. The new ones are cast and much beefier looking.

Here are some pictures of what I'm referring to. Look at the upper A arms.
