Clutch Issues (re-call)

My new clutch came in, the dealer stripped the machine down only to find out he did not have the right puller to pull off old clutch. I will have to wait I just start it in gear.

Yeh there is 2 tools one to remove belt tension and one to pull front clutch important note on the front clutch tool use liberal amount of grease on end of tool its used to to keep screw puller from bottoming out against crank puller will not work without grease ,service tech did not read instructions glad I was right there to watch before he grabbed BFH.

My clutch did not get too bad before my dealer replaced it with the new style. Now everything shifts easy.

I have to agree that changing gear while on a slope is a pain. Just getting it out of park on slope is hard.

Are you saying the new style clutch update solved the hard shifting issue mentioned above?

So is this a different clutch than what was installed from factory, or is it simply a replacement? Glad to hear that its addressed the rough shifting issues.

Sounds like they didn't do enough road testing with the factory setup, but glad to hear they are rectifying it for owners. Hopefully they plan on making this swap on all current models, before anyone takes delivery.
