Rear back up light.

Hello all. Wondering if the havoc has a prewired back up/reverse shift connection? My friends Honda pioneer 1000 did and is was very simple to put in a reverse shift light. Just mount the light then connect to the prewire.

The schematic is available PDF search arctic Havoc X wiring diagrams on google although I found some mistakes in wiring color and pin layout might be able to find the lever position switch that tells the LCD that itís in reverse see what kind of signal comes out that switch then perhaps if itís simply just the ground signal possibly use that also to trip a relay ground in the turning on a set rear leds lights .At night with the rear window and the red brake light illuminating it is often impossible to see when you have to back up at night in a trail the glare of the red light in the rear window makes it Very hard to see anything and If I have the time ,would like to have a switch that would turn off that red light. And turn on an LED light set in my brush bumper.

Thanks dynamiccim2018. Since this post I went and wired two rear led pod lights on the rear ROPS, ran a wire harness and installed a led rear switch light in one of the blank dash switch bays. The new Yamaha wolverine x2 has rear led reverse lights standard on there machine. I also installed a single LED ambient light under each driver and passenger side foot wells. Very true itís hard to see at night backing up as did bump a tree a few times. The foot well lights make it possible for me to see and grab my soda pop while night riding. I will try to post a few pics of both light installs.

Nice ,what was the best way to wire them rocker switches through hood or remove dash?
I am looking for the led lights that mount in brush style rear bumper from amazon prime due to the reflection cause by running a rear window which sits in front of brake light making it almost impossible to see at night if you need to reverse out of wrong trail.I like the interior cab lighting toting around flashlight is a pain .

Easy right through the hood. Powered from the supplied bus bar. Purchased both front 42 inch light bar and rear led lights on Amazon. Nilight was the brand name very inexpensive and they work perfectly. Also bought Nilight wiring harnesses (Amazon)and E support switches(Amazon) that match the OEM winch switch.

Yeah, I used the Nilight switches for mine as well. I like those underdash footwell lights too, thanks for that idea. I’ve got LEDS that I intend to install but haven’t gotten to it yet. Probably get it done over my Christmas break. Lol

My brake light does not work. I checked the bulb and it has 2 contacts and both passed a continuity test. What can be the problem? Thanks.
