looking to buy a 2018 Havoc

Hello everyone,
I have been looking at a new 2018 Havoc to buy, and been looking at all the posts on here and thought I would ask since you have a year or more and some miles on them. what's your thought on them now? are you happy or have regrets
Please share

Thanks
Gary

I have been very happy with mine. No issues. It has been a very good rig so far. Only wish I’d have been able to buy it for the price you can find them now.

not a good sign

Well I guess I can only assume with one good response and 20 views it doesn't look favorable for a 2018 Havoc.

The problem isn’t the Havoc, it’s the weird things that were happening with the Textron company. I think they have that settled down now. The other thing is that this forum never took off the way some do. There are 2-3 different Facebook pages where you can get a lot more opinions. There seems to be more people interested in this machine now than when they came out, people don’t tend to want to buy the first year product. Knowing what I know about the rig, and seeing the price they are now, if you find a 2018 for a good price, I’d buy it. The King shocks (that only came on the 2018) makes it worth it. I am not brand loyal and this is my first SxS, I have been and am still impressed with my HavoCat every time I go out. It really is a fun, capable, versatile machine. Good luck.

I agree with the site not getting the traffic other have and that the Facebook pages are better options. Everything cadydid said are spot on. I bought the first year wildcat trail and now havoc. When it came to sleds I bought the first year zr 580 with the battery less fuel injection. Look at the ranger. They have been building them for years and they are now dealing with fire issues. First year or 20TH year you are never going to get something that’s perfect imho.

I've only got about 50 miles on mine, but so far I love it. The storage behind the seats is great and the large box is nice. Lot's of power also so you can play hard as well as work with this machine.

I bought mine with 1800 miles. A little over 2000 now. If it had turf mode and the clutching wasn't so "on/off" it would be perfect.

It would be nice to have turf mode, but I can live without it. Most of my riding is in Low because we are consistently under 15mph on most of the trails where I ride (most of the time under 10 lol). When I’m in an area that I can give it more throttle, I put it in High and go. But yes, I wish it didn’t “jerk” when trying to go slow in H. Other than that, the only thing I wish they’d remedy is putting a parking brake; not in park position but an actual PB. I made one myself and it works great. But ALL UTV should have one.
