High gear noise

So in high gear only when I start to move accelerate it sounds like something is skipping, like a loud clicking noise. At first though it was just cvt chatter. But upon further investigation it seems it's coming from the transmission. Because when it makes the noise you can see the axles slip. Any ideas?

If it's only in high gear then you should be able to rule out a cv axle clicking. It sounds like it's not fully going into high gear. Is the shift lever hitting the top of the slot when you go into high? Should not be hitting it, if so adjust the cable. If that's not it you need to dig deeper. Here is a link to the transaxle parts breakdown.

Looked into it some and didnt find any loose nuts along the shift cable. I have like 15 days left on the factory warranty so looks like shes making a trip to the dealer.

Garage
Does it only happen when you are going very slow? These rigs will jerk and make a noise if you are trying to “crawl” in high gear. If you want to go slow, put in low and it won’t do that. If starting out in high gear, make sure to give it enough gas to go faster than 5mph and it won’t jerk either. If you only slowly press on throttle in H it will jerk and clank. Just an FYI. If that is not the case, then I’m uncertain.

Yeah I know about the jerking but this is a clicking. Sounds like a CV joint but it's not that because only does it in high.

So herd from the dealer he seems to think it's the belt. He said he did notice some burn Mark's on it. Doesn't seem right to me because only makes the noise in high gear but I'll fill you guys in more when I know more

It's not the belt clicking he thinks it's the rear diff as the belt slips but again can only speculate, should hear back from them in a few days
